The universe is like a plain field. It has dimensions. Length, width, height, and time are the four known dimensions. The universe or dimension that we live in does have an ending, or a ground, because all atoms, or everything, is made of energy. The end of the universe is called the void. It is impossible to get to the void. A huge nebula which is made of gases and dust formed our solar system. It started with the sun, and then the suns amazing gravity pulled the new planets into existance. On Earth, there was already mountains, pebbles, and water. But some ask, who created the nebula? Or who came up with the idea of a nebula appearing at the start of the universe? The only answer was a supreme being, better known as God. He created all. Oh, and scientific discoveries don't show and signs of alien life forms anywhere, but it might be possible. Hope I've helped!!

The universe is really, really, REALLY big. The furthest we've been able to see is around 14 billion light years (one light year = the distance light travels in a year in a vacuum). There is a theory that space is actually curved in on itself which means if you were to travel in a straight line you'd eventually return to your point of origin.

How many planets? Too many to count. We don't even know how many stars there are.

Mountains were formed by geological forces such as folding. As two tectonic plates come together they push on each other. As they push, material is shoved upwards creating mountains. This is the current state of the Himalayas as the Indian sub-continent slams into Asia at a rate of several centimetres a year.

Stones were created from magma as were pebbles. Some pebbles were created from larger stones that broke apart.

Water was created as a combination of hydrogen and oxygen .
Are there aliens? It's hard to say, but I believe there is life on other planets (why should Earth be the only one with life?). I don't believe they've ever visited Earth and I'm pretty convinced that they look nothing like the aliens we see on Star Trek.

The Universe is infinite there is no end that we know of it's kinda like #'s they go on forever too.I have asked myself this question many times and I have come to the conclusion that there really isn't a correct answer.I dont think this question will ever be answered.As for the # of planets no one knows and probably never will.And to answer your question about aliens if the universe is infinite and the # of planets are infinite, then there has to be.There is absolutely no way that we are the only ones in this vast space and I do believe that we have been visited but they are so much more advanced then we are, like a 80 yr old man looking at a newborn.I think that for this one reason alone is why they dont contact us not to mention that the US Government would through everything that they have at any craft that they dont recognize because the US Government believes that they are the super power of the universe.If these aliens ever wanted to destroy this planet I think that they would do it in a heart beat but they know that they dont have to because the self arrogant leaders of this world will do it first.

Our universe is every big [ 23 billions light year across].
For something to qualify to be planet, it needs to fill some requirements. There' s 7 planets. During 2006 scientist found out that Pluto is NOT a planet, but a dwarf planet.
In 2007 Scientist found a another planet, and this planet filled all the requirements, the name is GLIESE 581c.

This planet is almost the same as earth[ correct temp. vast landscape. and great number of oceans.] Only one problem, there's no sign of life, althougth life can be supported.
Maybe no discovered it [except US]

Mountains were formed by different forms of land structure.
pebbles were formed by erosion and water was formed from chemicals.

ALIENS do exist. there are everywhere. But to find a colony it takes a number of years.

IN the 20th century the americans spotted alien life{Area51}
They started sending signals towards space.
These signals must be still traveling in space.{this takes years}

If you still in doubt then explain crop circles.

It has been said that all of the grains of sand on all the beaches would be less in number than all of the planets and stars in our galaxy, and less than all the galaxies in just our universe. How many universes?
The mountains were formed when the earth first cooled, formed tectonic plates, and they were set to wrestle for control as they rose and fell. With the water that has been here since our star was formed from the death of the original star(s) previously here, our planet was hurled out from the resultant maelstrom and the water waged war with the plates as they threw up the mountains, only to be beaten back by the rain and sea and wind until the rocks and sand and pebbles were all that was left from that battle.
And for all those planets and suns out there that number more than the sands on all the beaches? I refuse to believe we are all alone in the universe, it would be impossible because the nature of life and the way that energy needs to go from state to state; life will NOT be denied!

That's not an easy question to answer. The latest estimate is that the radius is 10 Billion light years, That means the diameter is 20 billion light years across. This figure is based on the study of some of the oldest stars, since star evolution is very well understood. Also the rate of expansion of the Universe by studying the rate the nearby Galaxies are moving apart from each other. By analysing the rate of expansion the size and age of the universe can be determined by knowing the speed of light.

There are an estimated 200 Billion to 500Billion Stars in our milky way Galaxy, Which is just an average Galaxy. There are estimated to be as many Galaxies in the Universe as there is stars in our own Galaxy. As for the amount of Planets, (countless Billions) As for aliens. Well in all that vastness I think there has to be life elsewhere apart from Earth.

The universe, I believe, is infinite, never-ending. So that would then mean that threre are an infinite number of planets. That grealty increases the odds of having life on other planets, although I dodn't know exactly where.
And, putting all my religious beliefs out of the way, the mountains and landforms and things like that are made from a combination of weather, plate tectonics and all those kind of things.

Your Q shows you are still not even in your teens. So this is for you - 1. Universe is Huge , bigger than imagination 2. no. of planets is countless like hair on your head 3. Who created mountains , water etc? I did not ! There is only one Alien called Jaadu and you can find it in Hrithik Roshan's 'Koi mil gaya'. Happy ? Now go play ,kiddie and do your homework!
