will the ant just give up and die or will it try to survive and if so how or will it try to join back its brothers/sisters.
Assuming I were to pick up two ants from different tribes but same species, will they get along or will they fight or will they remain indifferent.?

They need specific pheromones to be aware that they are with their own tribes. They will be confused and directionless in the absence of any such chemical cues from their groups.
