Maybe this question is for Atheists,
When a prayer fails, christians obviously bring out plenty of excuses from their own mind which are not mentioned in bible at all!
For example,
- It's god's will.
- It's god's plan.
- God didn't answer the prayers for good reasons.
- Unanswered prayers are also answered in mysterious ways.
etc, etc...
My question is, which of such excuse sickens you the most?

Well, my bathtub answers prayers too - an extraordinary amount of times, the answer is 'no' but it still definitely answers them.
The Yes/No/Wait claim is to cover all bases. If you pray for something then whether it happens immediately, later, or never, it can be attributed to God.

I'm sorry you feel that way. If God does not answer prayer, there would not have been millions of Christians thruout the last 2000 years, a good percentage of whom gave their lives or risked their lives for the truth of the gospel.
There are many false Gods and one can have any old 'higher power' even a bathtub.
True prayer is 'Thy will be done' in any situation, not ours. We pray for the strength to accept God's will because God's will is holy, just, right, and ours is often not up to that standard.
I pray that someone else, maybe even you will not be so scornful and will find encouragement and understanding.

ha. i'm particular if somebody mentioned that she become dominican she would call them racist. my pal is dominican and he's in comparison to that. that's one dumba** excuse for being annoying. I had a pal like that. she on no account have been given the hint to *close up*. she would completely circulate the line. like i become joking with my pal approximately how his only pal become an alligator (its an interior humorous tale) and someway she began asserting he had intercourse with a male alligator. it become so terrible. we've been like "julie... cease!" ugh. i mean some poeple would nicely be humorous. yet different persons are only annoying. and he or she would constantly deliver stuff up that got here approximately like weeks in the past. like I tripped . so everytime i'd see her for weeks she would pretend to fall and be like "undergo in innovations that?" im like "yeah...." and that i hate sharing beverages with human beings. its gross. I mean in the event that they're my ultimate pal then particular. yet you do no longer understand who the human beings share beverages with. and begging for nutrition and money is annoying. a woman at my college does that. she on no account has lunch or lunch money yet yet... she has an iphone that she brings to college.... lol.

Actually none of them do. What sickens me is that they consider "prayer" to be absolute and will be answered but they call science a distortion. Go figure.

It's not the excuses which annoy me so much as the mindless and insensitive way in which they are given. More so when you know that the person saying them doesn't believe the excuses either and is just being defensive.

"Its not my problem"...Children dying?.."not my problem"...world aggression by bullies?.."not my problem"....genocide?.."not my problem"....no gas?..."oh god my hummer is empty"...need I say more?...."not my problem" and as for the Christians...well real Christians and not the pseudo ones you hear from don't only rely on prayer they DO God's work and never say "not my problem"
