Since God is gendeless, I wouldn't care if you called him mother or father... I personally prefer Father as it used a lot in the Bible....
"and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
(Philippians 2:11)

Interesting thought....there are some who believe that God is actually Mother Earth, Mother Nature...so why not, as long as you believe in something enough to pray...and since men wrote the Bible, where the information came from I will not even debate, of course they would make God a man.

Of course you can call God in different names if you like. Who is to tell you any different as why you cannot call God mother of God. It is a free world I hope still this side of the border.

Sure, alot of people pray to feminine energies.
People only think of God as male because of the patriarchial mindset..
But I believe God encompasses both feminine and masculine, and you can call 'em either gender.
