In the UK we have had some mass immigration for some years now. One thing is clear: All people come here, Eastern Bloc, Indian, Pakistani, oriental, somalians etc.

I have noticed that all of these groups try to integrate with our society, except for those muslim peoples from the indian sub-continent, mainly Pakistan but to a lesser extent India.

The difference here is that these people try to pack out one area, and take it over. Bradford, within 20 years, now has an all Muslim Council, electorate, and nearly all business and commerce is muslim owned - they are calling for it to be governed by muslim rule. The same thing is happening in Leicester, and there are so many coming in, Im worried where it might stop.

Is this just a UK thing, or do they try to take over your country too?

One thing to be aware of: in the UK, if you criticise these people or question it, it is very unfashionable, people call you a racist, which in the UK is worse than a murderer, also,we have laws which dictate that what I just said would be considered "invoking racial hatred" and punishable by a long jail term.

We have areas that tend to be dedicated to special groups, such as a china town, ect. As to any specific group taking over entire town councils, I have not heard of that on. Perhaps because here we seem determine to include EVERYONE into everything, that it precludes that particular process. I would suspect that something like that would happen where there is some kind of stiation of the population, remember, we have been fighting for an integrated society now for some 50 to 60 years, in part because our constitution prohibits discrimination, usually, from a legal and geographical point of view. I have heard of muslims starting their own towns, and I kind of understand the need, as that is sometimes the best way to get to feel included. But still, what you describe sounds more of a systematic atrician process, and should be watch.

As to the fear that you could get prosecuted for bringing that up, I would seriously readdress that law with your elected officers, because when ever people are afraid of questioning the government in a peaceful, and orderly fashion, it runs the risk of undermining freedom. Speech, even enflamitory speech, must be protected from sensure. As long as the speach does not result in physical violations there should be no real problems.

I suppose that it takes a mentality that every one is entitled to an oppinion, that makes it easier to maintain, but there are constant attempts to undermine it here too. This is where due diligent of the people comes to play.

First-generation immigrants usually don't assimilate all that well. I imagine this is especially the case with Muslims because of politics and religion. Trust me - by the third generation, their descendants will be eating cheeseburgers and engaging in promiscuous behavior.

I can't speak from personal experience--I don't live in an area that's heavily or even somewhat populated with Muslim immigrants from the Indian sub-continent, but I don't think what you're experiencing is all that bizarre. After all, my ancestors moved into New York City about 80 years ago, didn't speak a word of English, and only lived and socialized with their neighbors of the same national origin. Did I forget to mention that they were Sicilian?

Islam is vying for world domination.

I heard on the radio today that in India the Christians are getting death threats to convert. They have petitioned the government to help stop the killing of Christians who refuse. No super powers or oil or land grabs, convert or die.

On your subject I think it is the worst in the eastern bloc but in Detroit where the population is the largest there has been some incidence of Muslim
laws on Muslim people.

So far, it is not happening here, nor do I think it would be allowed or tolerated. Even if there was a Muslim minority in an area, U.S. laws dominate - they don't get to decide what the laws are - the U.S. legislators do. Muslims may take over an area where you live, but the should NOT be allowed to make laws that supercede the existing laws of the land - that would be the beginning of religious tyranny, and should NEVER be allowed.

It is not just a UK thing, it is done here also...they move into the neighborhood, buy stores, hang the Mexican flag over it, and change the language.
They do not want to become American, they don't want to assimilate into society.
Right now they are gonna to try to pass immigration reforms that would allow 12 million of illegal immigrants to become legal... if they $5000 over a 7year period if they have not committed a crime.

Let me add one thing, at least the Hispanic population is Christian, as much as I to b itch about illegals, thats one thing we really dont have to worry about.

i'm not racist or anything but thats not right. i live in the USA
and as far as i know we dont have a problem with muslims, but we do have a problem with illegal mexicans. they think they'er able to just walk across the border and become an american. i saw one time a statistic that said the USA has 300,000 illegal aliens. now thats not even the main problem. the biggest problem is a lot of the illegal's are criminals. and once there over here we can find them because it would be considerade racist to walk up to a mexican and ask for a green card. one things for sure though, they do know how to cut grass. oh and a nother thing. illegal aliens are able to get socail security. the USA government sends check down to mexico to an illegal immigrant once we retires at 67 and go's back to mexico where things are cheaper. any way please check out my 360 page

Not Muslims (well not yet) but we do have another group who is becoming very powerful, some legal some illegally. We have similar problems as the UK our laws are being challenged and in some cases changed.

In my area it is more Hispanic and Oriental type Asian immigrants. However, I have read that in the north mid-west Somolian immigrants hold a large percentage of taxi licenses and are refusing to take fares who have been drinking or have purchased and are carrying alchohol. Since there are only so many taxi licenses awarded, and we really WANT people who have been drinking to take a cab, this is a problem.

This is done in the U.S. also. Many areas in Southern California and especially southern Texas speak nothing but spanish. There are even Mexican groups that are claiming that parts of the US (mainly the South West) are actually theirs. Your not the only region with that problem, we feel for ya, good luck in your future, because ours looks pretty bleak for the moment.
