A total do over would be called for. I would go for a Roman bath look. Put in some marble pillars, lots of gold leafing, something in line with Pontius Pilate's home in Jerusalem. This would remind Jesus of home.
By the way, I think you have the best icon on Yahoo. No this is not a cheap attempt to get 10 points.

Yes I think a few pictures of me, you freindly neighborhood devil would spruce up that room real nice, Just remember plenty of fake blood and don't forget to turn that cross upside down, we wouldn't want him to be too comfortable would we now.

Are you planning to offer it to Him to live in, or are you going to let Him live in your house while you live in the shed?
Why not redecorate your heart instead, and invite him to live there? I am very sure that is where He would rather be.
