the mekon was a character in the eagle comic,there were the meakers that were a family in the tv show "rentaghost"

The Mekon was the name of a particular person, not a group. Trace was called the Treens - they were green guys from Venus, and The Mekon was their leader. He had a huge forehead to house his enhanced brain, but his limbs were wasted so he had to travel around on a sort of floating oval-shaped throne.

As others have stated, he was from Dan Dare, who originally appeared in the Eagle comic first in the '50s then resurrected in the '80s. I think they did make an animated version a few years back.

The Mekon was Dan Dares arch enemy,he sat on some little flying thing haha,it was from the 1950 a British comic the Eagle. Ha ha i thought of Captain Scarlet too but that was the Mysterons.

Dan Dare. I don't remember it being on television, however it was a cartoon strip in The Eagle comic. To be strictly correct Dan, and his right hand man Digby, constantly confronted The Mekon who was the "Supreme Scientist", the ruler of the Treens, who lived in the northern hemisphere of Venus.

It was not a t.v show. The "mekon" was the arch enemy of dan dare who appeared in the "eagle" comic.

the boss man had a huge green head and floated about in a levitating chair There was also a Leeds punk band of the same name in the late 70's who were great !!!!!

as far as i know, they were not on TV. They were in Marvel comics, I think
