Having no read government and no real law, Iraq will be in chaos. Iran knows this, and that is why they are supplying arms to the terrorist groups. They want troops to pull out, so they can move in. Within months, Iraq will belong to Iran. And Iran will begin a Hitler-like movement in the Middle East. No one wants any more deaths in Iraq, but this is precisely why we have to fix Iraq before we leave it. God help us all if there ever is a need for this country to fight a REAL war. One where every civilian needs to sacrafice, like WWII. Do you know how many people died a day in WWII? Thousands upon thousands. But we want to whine about 3,000 in over 4 years. Any death is a tradegy , that is true, but I think we need a little perspective here. It's just a good thing our grandparents weren't so spoiled and selfish. Hitler would own the world.

If the troops are taken out too quickly Iraq would be waiting to control itself greater because it may elect to and much less to the liking of the united statesauthorities. Take the troops out too quickly and the U.S. is quite no longer waiting to completely placed this is stranglehold over the regime which will assure them preferential oil deals, an enduring garrison interior the area, entire air administration and the liberty from prosecution for all U.S. appropriate workers. in short If we pull out too quickly we can't f#ck them appropriate.

Well first thing the 50,000 Turkish troops would finish the job on the Kurds. Second it would be a gift to Iran and they exact there revenge on the Iraqis for the war in the 80's. Then a much wider regional war would ensue and we would have to go back again.

Complete fuc*ing chaos. Iran and Syria will eye the Kurds oil-rich land and possibly invade. Al-Qaida will probably control vast amounts of land (and oil). The Sunnis and Shiites will continue a bloody battle over Baghdad. And nobody will stop any of this. The UN would eventually have to go back and intervene so, why not clean up this mess now instead of later?

You would bring forward whatever conclusion this conflict is going toward thereby reducing the number of allied troops killed. It may well result in a short term increase in violence but there is one thing Arabs respect and that is power. They will quickly realise where that power lies and because it will be with fellow Arabs they will accept it. Look how peaceful it was when Saddam was in control. Not very nice for some, bur peaceful.

Typical answers from a typical mindset..
What will really happen is:
Firstly the rest of the world will join with the Iraqis to have a massive party.
All American setup institutions and companies will be thrown back to the fraudulent and greedy land from whence they came...allowing the benefits of Iraq's resources to benefit Iraqis..and not rich Halliburton types from the US
American influence in world politics will diminish to a whimper..who the hell is gonna believe it the next time America says.."Hey they got WMDs...no really..you must believe this evidence..they/he are really dangerous to world peace"..we know who that is now!
The policy of using military ground units in foreign countries will be changed (after Vietnam and the body-bag scenario..the US changed to a missile/aircraft standoff firepower strategy in order to stop the images of dead Americans coming home) to a ring of defence...Go home...and bloody stay there. No-one wants a nuisance kid in the playground of life.

expect hundreds of thousands of iraqi dying in the hands of fellow iraqis and foreign terror groups like al qaeda.
when the US withdrew from vietnam, about 2 million people died when the communists tried to subdue the south. the US only delayed the onslaught for 7 years.

the Sunnis and the Shiites would continue their war, but it would get much worse. the iraqi government would possibly be overthrown. iraq would be more chaotic than it actually is now. iraq would send a global outcry for help. other countries would get involved to help. countries helping would be blamed for being in iraq solely for privatized purpose (profit).

Yes , there would be an increase in violence in the short to mid term. But it could be the right thing to do, peace keeping is one of the hardest thing to accomplish and one of the most deadly has we have found out.
