You've got two problems here: First, you're assuming that the only way to fix an amputation is for the spontaneous regeneration of a limb. Many amputees have their prayers answered with prosthetic devices. Second, you're assuming that God should undo things that he's decided are not reversible. We could just as well ask why God doesn't regenerate the arms of apes, or why he doesn't regrow the heads of the decapitated, or why he doesn't raise those who are dead, or heal a pig who is in a sausage grinder. It's a silly question, really. Some things are permanent. They are not reversible by any amount of prayer, and they're also not reversible through our best use of science. Yet we hear you (and the "amputees" guy) complaining that failure to heal amputees is evidence that God doesn't exist, and yet not mentioning that medical science failing to heal amputees is a shortcoming of medical science.

Yes I've seen the website and read Sam Harris as well, lol.
Yeah you're absolutely right! There has never been a single miracle where as such, the limb has grown back or the cut hand has stiched back. Infact plenty of babies are born without limbs and they never ever get healed.
Be prepared for some absolute nonsense from the believers now...

God heals amputees on the inside and make their lives BETTER sometimes. I am sure this question is just as offensive to an amputee as that website is.
As far as the cancer debate. Why blame God when we pollute and then suffer form pollution and radiation.
Better yet. Ask an amputee. Bring a cop with you.
Quote a verse that says the Lord will do this???

Do you really believe you ask logical questions on this forum? How do you suppose a Christian would answer this question rationally, according to your definition of the word?

Excuse 13224: God works in mysterious ways.
Excuse 13542: Didn't pray hard enough.
Excuse 45341: Didn't believe enough.
Excuse 24312: Not really a christian.
All these excuses (and many more). No wonder there are so many apologetics.

Tens of thousands die in the third world every day of disease and malnutrition- for some reason God doesn't hear their prayers.
