I'm fond of New Hampshire. I live in California. Ugh. More people leave this state than enter it every year because taxes and cost of living are too high. This state is so overregulated. I can't wait to leave!

Loretta, Please quit giving stupid answers to everything. And if California is such a great state, why is everybody leaving it and moving to Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and any other western state that will put up with their crap?
I have actually lived in a number of states and have finally moved back to my home state of Idaho. I lived in Mesa as a teenager but moved out of there when I graduated. I didn't like the mass amount of people everywhere. Idaho is even getting too crowded now with all of the freaking Californians moving in and trying to change everything. I have been looking more favorably on Montana every day. It really depends on what you like. If you like living so close to your neighbor that you smell his farts, live in New York. I personally like living in open country and smelling clean air.

Loretta's just doing it to get attention.

I'd say the burbs of the Chicago area is nice.

I've lived in many states and I'd have to say Hawaii where i was raised is about the worse place to move.

With our current government, the best state is the state of denial.

California is best state because society is liberal and you can become what you want because government is lenient.
