It depends on the way that you are living right now. if your life is very different to islamic prinicples it will be hard to make a lot of changes. If not then it might be easier. You should just take it slow and make the changes when you feel you are ready. i would say first make the major changes and when you have learnt how to cope then convert fully. You are converted once you have said your kalima( declaration that there is only one god that is allah and that muhammad was his messenger) and made your first whudu and salaat. (prayer). if i were youy i would start with learning what islam is all about and start changing my life and once i have become comfortable and sure in my decision then convert. You can go to a madrassa 9islamic school0 to learn.

Put some clothes on your avatar. It's highly inappropriate, and since this site is also shared by people in England and Australia, as well as people in other countries who speak English, there may be children on here.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Do you know that if some parent wants to, they could get you for trying to pervert their children? Yahoo can trace your ISP. I would seriously rethink having that kind of stuff visible, unless you WANT to get arrested.

And since I know you're only asking questions so that people will see that avatar, I don't feel any need to give a sincere answer.

Indeed religions were not to be. This is a man made title one of which disappoints and saddens.

Man has yet to experience the second coming of The Christ and this will indeed put right the ‘religions'. For man sees many gods.

This is total misconception for there is only one Source/The Almighty from whence man all originated.

Man has added his words/thoughts and distorted the truth to many. Man has also let himself be badgered by this and believes this to be true.

Man will indeed find out at the second coming that all was false and that there are no religions, there is only spirituality.

Man needs to listen to his inner voice to experience The Truth, for in the words sent man will indeed attain truthful enlightenment.

Man has allowed religion to stereotype man. Only fools do not listen to The Master speak within. Only fools will be swayed by religions.

It's as simple as saying, "There is no God but Allah, and Muhummad is his prophet." It must be said sincerely to "count," of course.

Of course, one would want to study the religion in depth before doing that, just to be informed about what being a Muslim entails. Are you prepared to fast during Ramadan? Avoid alcohol? Shun pork? If you're considering becoming a Muslim, I'd give up pork and alcohol NOW, before you make the profession of faith.

It's very easy. All you have to do is say you believe in one God, and that his prophet is Mohamed. This will make you a Muslim. No rituals I guess.

Read the Qu'ran.. It's a good way to get a good idea of the religion. Then decide where you want to go and speak to an Imam at the mosque.
