Ok. All the atheist bashers are right. I should have a religion. Please tell me which supernatural belief to adhere to, and please explain why I should choose this system over all others. BTW, "believe as I do" and "its in this book" are not aswers.

In reality, all religious experience is subjective. No one, however many claims they or their chosen texts make, can ever speak with any genuine authority about what, if anything, awaits us after death.

Yet people instinctively seek, well, a little warmth in the dark. A way of explaining the world around them, a code and a culture and a folklore within which to continue their family line, a community of like minds. It's a human trait to *believe.*

Taking those two points as givens, my conviction is, all else being equal, look to the indigenous folk beliefs of one's ancestors. Most people will find, generally, that customs, values, symbols, myths, folklore and beliefs which have arisen within their own bloodlines and geographic origins will "speak" to them with far greater archetypal resonance than those imported from cultures and climates (*cough* Middle Eastern sand cults *cough*) in which their genotype did not evolve.

Indeed religions were not to be. This is a man made title one of which disappoints and saddens.

Man has yet to experience the second coming of The Christ and this will indeed put right the ‘religions'. For man sees many gods.

This is total misconception for there is only one Source/The Almighty from whence man all originated.

Man has added his words/thoughts and distorted the truth to many. Man has also let himself be badgered by this and believes this to be true.

Man will indeed find out at the second coming that all was false and that there are no religions, there is only spirituality.

Man needs to listen to his inner voice to experience The Truth, for in the words sent man will indeed attain truthful enlightenment.

Man has allowed religion to stereotype man. Only fools do not listen to The Master speak within. Only fools will be swayed by religions.

No one can answer that question for you, all religions are a means to the same end, they just worship differently and probably would NEVER admit what I just said. Keep an open mind and read read read. Take parts of some that ring true to you and add them with other parts you have found. You don't have to follow any specific guidline as long as you believe in what you have created. The Great Spirit is known by many names, all of them different but equally true. Think of it like a diamond with all its different facade's, when you turn it a different way the light reflects different but does that change what it is?

What ever religion is right for you. Do research into different religions and see which one rings true to you.

Its not in a book it comes from your heart and don't convert to something because someone tells you to. If being an Athiest is right for you than you already found the correct path for yourself.

Religions are man made. What you need is a personal relationship with God (or whatever you choose to call him). He is your creator and the master of all things. Just talk to him. He will answer. (and no, I am not delusional)

Don't follow a religion, just because you feel you should. Rather read the bible, and follow the philosphy of Jesus Christ. Love your neighbour, do unto others as you would have them do to you. Be loving, do good. Pray. Forget the rest.

Once you have realized that gods are imaginary and you have become an Atheist. It is impossible to shed this knowledge [you can not "un-ring" the bell] and revert back to religion superstition.
