It seems to me that the more a Christian was into say music, film and other creative intellectual thought outside of religion – the less preachy and strict but more free-spirited and accepting. A lot of Christians seem to have a negative view of secular entertainment. Yes, mainstream pop-cultre is flooded with garbage but what about the older, hippie stuff?

The hippie stuff, meaning the adult films in theaters, the "make love not war" slogan, the spitting on American troops when they returned home from Viet Nam, the protests, the enormous amounts of weed they smoked, you mean that kind of hippie stuff?

Actually there are many venues in modern culture art in which Christians are involved in. You normally don't see this in the public view because people are afraid that art about religion might accidentally "offend" someone's delicate sensibilities.

Billboards of naked women in Las Vegas that advertise massage parlors that guarantee "always a happy ending" are perfectly allowable, however.
