my 20 year old boyfriend shares a room with his 16 year old sister, so i have never seen his bedroom. however, my question is he is the most insecure person i know and is convinced he is inadequate. do these have any relation?

they live with their parents in a 2 bedroom house, i have never been in his room as he is far to embarrased, he has only just told me. he is the most insecure person ever and thinks he is totally inadequate. are these related?

oh please people!! I had to share with my sister until my early 20's...is that any different?
I also had to share with my brother for a few months over when he had nabbed the larger room and my sister who came home next had his room and I was left sharing with my brother for a while.....FYI I do not have romantic tendancies towards my brother!
I have seen a story on news about an entire family of 6 who share a room and an extended bed!! ok this was weird...

My father lived in a 2 bedroom house with 4 sisters and parents....my aunties and dad had to share stretchers!!! Dad did get a sleepout when he was a teen though....but it was 7 in a 2 bedroom house.
If he was brought up sharing his room, he is probalby fine and used to it, but I can see how not showing his room out of embarrassment (as people would come up with silly little comments like these seen here)....Also his sister may not be happy about having her limited space invaded by his brothers girlfriend

bad idea for boys and girls over the age of 8 to share a room. do you live down south, per chance?

I'm sure that he & his sister are just "very close".
His feelings of inadequacy couldn't be due to his inability to make his sister "happy".
I'm sure "Greg & Marsha" have a very special bond.
Didn't I see this on an episode of "friends"?

something sounds kind of fishy. he shouldn't be doing that. ask yourself this "is she really his sister"?
