I want to make a simple anklet..using the accent beads only..as the colour of the thonging is important to the design I do not want to use any other beads.

The problem is that the accent beads bunch up...what do I need to get to stop my beads from doing this..I do not want to use glue.

I want the beads to stay in place uniformly along the thong.

But I do not want to detract from the accent beads.

I have been looking for rubber O rings that might do the trick but am having no luck at all other than in black.

Hope you can help???

I tried the knotting technique but as it is 2mm rubber the knot is big and bulky..

Tie a knot in your string before and after each knot.
A simple thumb knot is the best for this.

You can alternatively use on of the 'beads' that can be pressed closed, a normal bead (if needed,) your accent bead, a normal one (if needed) and a closed one.
The closed ones press in your thonging, the normal beads can be (mostly) hidden in your accent beads and are just to get to the right size.
These beads you can press closed are used in ending bead work, and are often small, sorry, I do not know what they are called in English.

Tie a knot between each bead.

knotting is the only way i know of, no glue will hold the beads to a streachy cord. get black beads to put in place of the extra spaces. or whatever color the thong is that you want showing.

Do like a pearl necklace.
They tie a knot between each pearl. That way the pearls don't grind against each other and abrade/erode the pearl.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/4BVlT
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.
