For thailand or at least Bangkok, many or most of the tour agencies require that you attend a school or university in thailand so that you are familiar with the many sights in Thailand. I knew someone that went to one in 2005 but, I have lost contact with her. You have to go to class, study, and go on field trips, and write recap reports. She asked me to help her write her recaps. LOL I learned about a few place I had not been to.
I tried to look it up online and there does not seem to be a reference to any of them. There are supposed to be 2 of them in the Bangkok area. You may have to go to a tour or travel agency and ask. Sorry I could not be of more help.

if you were Thai,it is okay for being tour guide. Many Universities around Thailand offered you a course to get Tourist Guide Post. If you are foreigner is not possible for that license,because Thai law says Tourist Guide carrier is reserved just for Thai...If you don't have Thai Nationality.. forget about it...
