In my life I've noticed that most Christians are afraid of death ... it's unknown and frightening to them plus they have that extortionist Yahweh telling them only me or else ... and they aren't sure if they measure up to his expectations. You know one of those authoritarian fathers that the kids love to hate.

I'm a Witch and I don't fear death ... I don't want to die right now just because I've got so much to do ... but when I die I know I'm on the wheel and that it's just one more spin and then another spin or two after that I'll be back.

Are you born again and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ or do you just attend church and figure that church is good enough. Unless a person is born again they cannot see the kingdom of God. Also once born again (saved) you go through many changes, as God sends the Holy Spirit to work with you and convict you. This is how God changes you to be clean and pure and not of the world. Are you of the world? Do you still go to night clubs and drink or anything else like that. It does make a difference. The Bible says He that is of the world is not of God. If yes, you may not truly be saved. This could be the fear of death you have. I went through the same thing until I knew I was truly saved and I now do not fear death.

death is a transition, much like birth.
We don't remember birth, (thank God!)
And in the same way, we will leave our bodies behind and realize: "hm, that wasn't so bad." Unless of course you die so fast you don't realize you're dead. I've heard of that happening. Then you're more like "huh?"

Dedicate the last two hours of your life to the Blessed Virgin. If you are not comfortable with that, then ask your guardian angel for help.

I think it helps to try to envision death and wonder how and when it will happen. This helps us remain calm, and it helps us to appreciate the present.

Just because you are a christian doesn't make you superman or some perfect hero. It doesn't make you magic . You are still human. There are a lot of Christians that have fears. You just ask God to protect you and give you strength. That's where the faith starts coming in. There's nothing wrong with you.Just pray about it that God will help you get over what ever it is..
