im not an atheist but im going to answer your question. the books of the bible were not chosen by god. they were chosen by a group of priest in Nicaea in an attempt by Emperor Constantine to unify the christian faith so that they could decide certain ideals (passover, relationship to the Father) and also so Constantine could control the growing Christian population in the Roman empire. some texts were left out, because they didnt not fit the scheme of a godly Jesus. in example, in the gosple of Thomas, jesus was kind-of a rotten kid and played tricks on people by preforming miracles.
so is the bible the actual word of god? if you believe that the authors were devinly inspired then yes. however, i personally believe that christianity today is far from what christ had imagined as it should be.

So if you found a book with thousands of atheists said that there's no God, then it must be true?

This has to be a joke, but one can never truly know. Some people actually use such circular logic. The one thing that seems to give it off is that you say it is written by people and do not say that it is inspired by God, otherwise I would have no doubt that you meant what you said.

"thousands of people who say..." In a court this would be considered hearsay and as such, inadmissible. Any other evidence you would like to present?

Black, white, and red all over? It's either a dead skunk, or the bible with the blood of millions of innocent people all over it.
