I am coming to the end of a 5 year enlistment, I have recieved 2 NJP's during that time for the same offense 134x3 and two article 82's. My question is, if you finish your term is an honorable discharge the norm? Can they say "well you had these njp's, so we're giving you a general."? I haven't been NJP'd in 2 years from the marines. my pro-cons are kinda low at 4.4/4.1 thanks!

Yes,

You mention you got a few 15's...if you were discharged as a result of NJP or a court marshall you could receive a general, bad conduct, or dis-honorable discharge.

Each time a commander offers NJP, they must be ready for a courts martial if the troop declines NJP. If you take the NJP after your punishment is over...you are good.

After NJP, a commander or 1st SGT may establish a UIF, unfavorable inforamtion file...even if you seperate with a UIF open, as long as they are not throwing you out

You get an honorable discharge

You mentioned article 82...did you mean 92 failure to obey?

I was Air Force for 6 years. Worked in personnel but I believe all DOD is the same when it comes to discharge. You can receive a General: Other Than Honorable if you have managed to get into a little trouble but not get kicked out. Depends on your commander. Your level of discharge will be recommended by a junior to mid-grade officer and then signed off by a senior officer who can either upgrade or downgrade your discharge.

reckoning on his generic condition or time or provider despite if it became constructive or unfavourable will replicate on his discharge. If he has consistent themes with weight and refused to lose and confirmed no initiative to even attempt to lose the load he will have a customary discharge. If he like a number of Marines I knew had served their time with none themes and had medical themes like a extreme returned injury or something that saved her or him from PTing and finally as a results of that have been given discharged as a results of weight and injury it may be honorable. something different than and honorable discharge would not look good.

No... you can manage to screw up and get an other than honorable discharge at the end of your enlistment without getting thrown out early.

Generally if they don't send you to a court mashal or "CO's Mast" and directly assign the OTH/dishonorable discharge you'll get an honorable one.

There is honorable, less than honorable and a dishonrable discharge. So it's possible to get a a less than honerable discharge.

no its not and damned if I can think of the term, there is one between honorable and dishonorable.

Why not just stay in and apply yourself? Make it your personal challenge to be the best and rise above it? We need hero's, not to lose them. But bless you for your service anyway, its appreciated.
