i am about 5"7 or 5"8 and i dont like that i am tall. how can i get shorter; and is this even possible?

I would have to agree with the crowd - some form of amputation.
If they can break your leg bones and re-attach them 1/4 of an inch at a time, then why can't they cut out a section and let it heal back shorter???
Or for something less drastic - try going around barefoot. That should help cut about an inch off your appearance ;)

I'm 5'9" ! I don't even compare to the female models out there!
Hold your head up high. Wear any shoes you want and be proud. I hit 6' when I wear my high heels. Everyone checks me out when I enter a room. My boyfriend is the same height with the exception of my shoes. When we're out on the town, the other guys are looking and jealous! My boyfriend is proud. You go..... you tall & beautiful woman! Woo Hoo!

go to a doctor and ask them to amputate your legs at the knee you will be shorter by about two feet or so

I am in the fifth grade and I'm 4'8. I think I am short because I hit myself on my the center of the top of my head a couple of times, on accident. TRY HITTING YOURSELF ON THE TOP CENTER OF YOU HEAD WITH A HAEAVY DICTIONARY!
