My boyfriend refuses to have sex with me during my period and I find it extremely frustrating because I actually want sex more during that time, I think it's hormones or something. Anyway, he thinks it's absolutely disgusting, so I'm wondering why guys think this and also what should I do? He's said he'll probably be able to get over it one day but just can't right now.

Not all men feel that way, but you should understand and respect their feelings about sex during menstruation. Of course you are correct about the hormones, most women do experience a higher sexual drive during their monthly visitor.. Just try to understand how he feels and give it time.. Some men like it some other don't. Tastes differ. Just don't force him. Honestly, I don't see the problem: it's just a couple of days after all!

Well!!!, what a coincidence, my gf do not permit me to have sex with her during her period, however before the onset of her period, we had lots of sex. She feels that it is too messy and unhygience to have sex during her period, and to some religion it bring bad luck to the bf or husband.
However, during her period, she do use other method to get me high...if i needed, so sex is in a way, to give and take, dun overly pressure your partner whom you love when he/she has all the reasons behind it to deny you.

Period sex is an acquired taste(no pun intended).It's VERY unsanitary and it's definitely not appealing to the eyes or nose.If someone was trying to force me to do such a thing..it would be grounds for a break up.

Hey! not all guys think it is disgusting, I have no problems he needs some understanding let him know it feels good and he is not going to get a disease. my girlfriend and i enjoy it better because she wants more and deeper then when I have intercourse on non-normal days where it hurts her when i push to deep inside her keep on him give him some excitement he never knew about you and he will come through.

they always say "if you can trudge Thru mud you can f*@# thru blood", tell him he not a man until he's earned his red wings:-) your girl doctor will tell you how much it benefits to do the deed during menstruation. less cramps, less bloating, its tighter down there and he'll like it too, it also really helps with p.m.s. due to the happy endorphins that run thru your brain after the fact. live a little, try something new.

Some guys care and some don't. Honestly if it makes him uncomfortable you should back off the subject. Sex is about fun and if he thinks it's gross it will not be fun for him. They don't like to get the "red rings".

Do you blame him? That just sounds like a mess. I would also like to point out that some people believe that it is morally wrong to have sex with a woman on her period. But then, so is sex before marriage. Good luck with that...

all guys and girls are different but i enjoy it if it isnt the first couple days--at that time anal in the spoon position is great,,,some guys are just prissy and dont want to do all they can to satisfiy their woman--ive been with several women that enjoyed it a lot at that time and i never say no to sex

its the smell that turns a guy off, some girls smel really bad but some dont. it depends on girls too. you can use lots of perfume and light up the perfummed candles in ur bedroom before sex...
