How can you not be romantic if you like a girl? How can you not know how either?! How can you get a guy to be more affectionate?

Well I've been with him for 3 months and he is showing all the signs of being into me. Just not affectionate enough I think, not being really romantic. He has even told me he would love it if i came with him overseas how much he wants us to work out. Feel like I need more than just hugs though...how could I help out so he would be more affectionate towards me and not think it is corny!

In general, Men and Women view romanticism differently.
Women are more prone on the receiving end. On what they can get from someone else. Men are more prone to the giving end. What they can give to someone else, or how they can impress another.
When either one involved does not feel good about themselves, it's difficult to genuinely offer that to someone else in a consistent way.
Women like to be pampered, noticed, touched and appreciated. Oddly enough, Men are really no different. It's just the context and the vise that is different.
You truly can't and should not try to make someone into what they are not presenting. This is known as an expectation. Love doesn't confine itself to expectations.
Romance is an expression of love, but not love itself. Fixing something that is broken, or providing means to someone else is also an expression of love. There is none more or less equal.
It's very much about meeting in the middle, instead of expecting one to bend fully in our own direction.
We get into relationships to learn and grow through the experience of having the other in your life. Not by molding one to your own views of what love means to you.

some guys lack imagination to be romantic, scary hey or he could just be lazy. some people are affectionate some are not, that is something that is really hard to change in person and realistically you shouldn't have to. maybe you've been together along time and he's grown complacent or maybe he's just not right for you

you are right ,,if he isnt romantic or affectionate he wont be in you,,maybe he is gay or you dont turn him on or maybe he has a little bitty one,,make sure you are nice and clean and smell good inside and out and check that bad breath,,,if none of that helps ----rape him---if that dont jump start him then come to my place and ill give you all the lovin you want

Tell him what you want. Not everyone feels the way you do. He can't read your mind.
Some people are just not romantic by nature, and you can't teach those kind, you must just accept them for what they are.

some guyz say they love you, but dont show any love until they are with you on bed. your guy does that? is he more romentice while s e x , because they think they love you,the next morning its all same,
