The Israelites have been displaced so many times over thousands of years and many of the Jews themselves, besides many of the tribe of Levi, know of their original tribe. If the Jewish people themselves have trouble identifying their ancestry, I wouldn't give much credence to the Mormon Church claiming that they can accurately make these determinations.

Remember this also, despite the various traditional differences apparent in the multiple denominations of Christianity, Catholicism and Protestantism in particular, the teachings of the Mormon Church are considered highly controversial by them all.

All-in-all, good question. I'm a Christian myself and yet find it necessary to question certain aspects of Christianity. A lot of people are classic examples of "the blind leading the blind" as they continue to believe things without even understanding why. As Jesus said himself, "both shall fall into the ditch." It is only through asking the tough questions that your eyes can begin to open and you will not fall into this category. Although I believe God's word to be perfect, I understand that man is not and therefore his interpretations can be flawed.

I apologize that I can not precisely and directly answer your question, but I do understand your motivation and hope that my answer does provide some benefit.

that's the Bible's view (subsequently God's viewpoint) on what happens after we die: (Ezekiel 18:4) (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) at present a pal dedicated suicide, she were taking medicine for years and regrettably, lived in a usa the place psychiatric help is rather primitive. i extremely believe that people who've an imbalance of their innovations and prefer this pal stay able the place help is limited then God is familiar with why they take their lives - they make judgements in keeping with their obstacles. this occasion which you gave of a guy or woman who's ill from maximum cancers isn't inevitably interior an identical class. I agree that that is painful and humiliating yet to take their lives would be a wakeful determination - people who've psychological issues do no longer inevitably make a wakeful determination - they act on fake innovations. of course that is only my opinion (no longer only because of the fact of my pal) because of the fact there are a number of extreme psychological ailments on the instant. God isn't merciless, he will take this into consideration. i will digital mail an account of a youthful boy with maximum cancers who remained unswerving to the top.

They can't do that. There is not enough evidence which tribe that certain members belong to, so they can't say such tings definievel

They spin a bottle and whatever name it's pointing at is the one.
Worthyness is determined by how well they "pray" on their knees.
