try looking into the price of the Circue Du Soliel shows. Mystere at the Treasure Island, "O" is , I think. at the Bellagio. Try this website too, or any others you can find in google, and see what you can find.

The great majority of Vegas shows are well over $50. Especially Cirque and the headliners. If you like to laugh and don't mind language, try Vinnie Favorito at O'Sheas. He's an insult comic from Boston who keeps the crowd in stitches. He doesn't push the insults too far either. His show runs around $45 for an hour and a half.

If you can wait until the last minute, there are several outlets that sell tickets at half price for shows that day. One is by the M+M store by MGM Grand.

I know not everyone likes magic but Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo was great. I bought the cheapest ticket and lucked out - since I was alone I got moved to the 6th row to fill an open seat.

Hmm... well, I did see La Cage at the Riviera. I'm not sure exactly how much it was because I got free tickets, but it wasn't the kind of show that really couldn't have cost too much. It was a male doing female impersonations. Really good actually.
