The first thing you must remember is....NEVER EVER NEVER DIET! okay, now with that said, lol, instead of depriving yourself of food try to add more nutrious options. Be a food snob. Only eat what tastes good and nutrious. Just because it's healthy doesn't mean you have to eat it either. Do you like egg plant but hate peas. Than don't eat peas and stick to the egg plant. Experiement. Try different dishes of veggies. Also incorporate more fruit and protein (fish is an excellent source). Try to include extra virgin olive oil as well, it's an oil so it contains nine grams of fat but it's so good for you that the extra fat is worth it, plus it helps with digestion. Cut out junk as much as possible. Instead of a snickers grab some fruit or a granola bar. In time you'll start craving these things instead. Remember to drink plenty of water (try to avoid sugary drinks and soda). And don't forget to exercise. Find activities that you'll keep up and enjoy. Exercise doesn't mean running laps on a track (unless you enjoy that). If you like to swim go for a swim, if you like nature start hiking. If you change your eating habits and incorporate enjoyable exercise you'll loose weight in no time and not even realize that you are trying. You don't have much to loose anyway, so again, avoid the fad diets. With diets you'll lose weight quickly but gain it back because diets were meant to be a permanent solution. You might even loose muscle mass in the process so when the weight does come back, you'll look more flabby than before. I hope I was able to help you some.

I'm 15 and was REALLY fat..I now weigh 120 and am 6ft.
I eat smaller meals, and slowed down when I eat ( you brain takes time to know that it's full) I would eat really slow take a sip of water ect... If you drink sodas go to diet. Start walking and don't push yourself is you are trying to lose lbs to " fit in" it never works. Eat apples and other fruits ( if you like them) or low cal snake...I always eat a little bit of candy at night if i was really good :)
Good luck..try the best as you can, and if you can only lose 5 lbs GOOD JOB! losing weight is hard, and 5lb will look different on your body :)

Please keep in mind that nothing in this life is easy if it's worth anything.............
You're looking at only a 15 lb. difference! Just keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat! Don't look to the scale to be your friend. Put it in the trash! How do you feel? How do your clothes fit? Are you healthy? Do you need a smaller size?
Examine your eating and exorcise habits. Make sure they balance out. I changed my eating habits years ago. I didn't diet. I made a life change in the way I ate and exorcised. I included one "fat" day a week and claimed that one day to eat any ting I wanted. That seemed to take care of my cravings.....The small way of giving into my emotional eating. Giving myself that one day seemed to help me.
The best advice I could ever give to you is to love yourself the way you are BEFORE you even start. Secondly, I definitely wouldn't advise a "diet" of any kind. I would advise for you to change the way you look at food and what it means to you emotionally. At your age, you'll have a lifetime of benefits to look forward to!
Do some research! Soda....bad! Too much bread......bad! Leave the candy bars and cake to your "fat" day. Make sure to limit it to one day a week!
I'm confident you are a smart young lady and just need some encouragement. I know that IF you set your mind to it and have a realistic view on the new you; you can do it!
Just keep in mind, that it's a life change and not a diet. It won't happen overnight and dieting seems to come back to haunt you in the long run anyway. I made my life change years ago and have faith you can too!
Best wishes!
Hugs,
Michelle

Soup. Go to the market and buy a couple of boxes of Lipton dry Noodle soup. Its very low in calories. Also buy some frozen veggies, or canned green beans or carrots. Cook the soup and add the veggies. You can eat a pot full all day and consume very few calories and feel full. And drink water.

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her. I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at
http://www.myl2you.info , they gave my aunt a free trial of Hoodia, a free diet guide, and a free recipe booklet. She only paid $7.99 shipping and handling.
