The Jews and The Palestinians would both half to agree on who gets what land. Split it 50/50. The problem was that both parties didn't have an equal say. Thoughts?

They hate each other.

Imagine US land was empty. Put Palestinians on West coast, Jews on East one, in 2 years they'll expand till they meet and start fighting again.

Peace will never be achieved there, and your idea is based in ignorance. The Palestinians, in truth, exist because they were dumb enough to believe what the other Arab countries told them would happen after the 1948 war. They had been living, more or less peacefully among the Jews up until the partitioning of Palestine, or more properly, Israel was done by the U.N. The Arab leaders told them to get out, so that they would not be hurt in the coming conflict. Once it was over and this partitioning had been squashed, and Israel driven into the sea, they would get their land back, and more. It just didn't happen that way. Please note that for all of the Islamic rhetoric, they will NEVER tell the truth about what happened. Israel is doing nothing wrong, the Palestinian cry babies need to just bleed off into the surrounding Arab nations and be done with it. They lost their homes by virtue of legitimate combat. Those who did stay, of the "Palestinians" are citizens of Israel and enjoy the benefits of being citizens.

Sorry friend, but seeing how both sides claim the Temple Mount as a holy site pretty much any type of sharing plan is doomed from the get go

Its too bad the Arabs attacked Israel cuz the original plan was to make Jerusalem an International city under U.N. administration so they kinda shot themselves in the foot on that one( that might have prevented some of the problems we have now)

That's not a bad idea. It's worth a shot, compromise. That would mean both Jews and Palestinians would both have to make concessions for the sake of peace.

Share the holy sites?

My first thought was that you're single, so you wouldn't understand the idea of not being willing to share your wife with another man.

Then, I thought.... Maybe this guy's the Anti-Christ..... then, you actually would stand a chance of getting the peace treaty signed over there........ You're not really the Anti-Christ, are you?

The problem is that both parties want all of it...both having a legit claim to it (in their minds and histories) and the biggest problem is the holy areas that overlap, like Jerusalem

Peace-shmeace
We who do not live there daily do not understand their plight.
Remove all foreign troops from the lands. Let them smack each other around.
Re-start diplomatic ties with the successor-this will save foreign lives that don't have any dogs in the race, and they will have a winner, dominator, dictator, savior, whatever they want to call it.

I don't worry about it. If figure that the stage is being set for the war that occurs in Zechariah 14, Ezekiel 38 and 39. It's not about fairness, and God has already picked who he would support.

I think it might end up a huge stalemate. What would they do, flip a coin?

And then what about Jerusalem?

At least your still trying to find a solution -most have given up hope --I'd give you a thumbsup if I could...
