find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You are slightly overweight, but nothing extreme. If you're a teen, you could lose a little weight (15-20 lbs) over the summer and surprise every one with your new look in the fall!

You asked if you are overweight for your age.. but you didn't say how old you are?
You could have more muscle mass than fat. Since muscle weights more then fat. I figured out your BMI (Body Mass Index) And your BMI is 26.2. That does fall in the "overweight"catagory. But you are very close to "normal weight" which the BMI is 18.5-24.9.
If you are worried about your health you should start eating a healthy, but well-balanced meal and just be more active - get your heart rate up!

I doubt you're obese or dangerously overweight but you are in-fact overweight.
If you look to be slimming down yet you're at the same weight then it is likely muscle.
If you're trying to lose weight though then you should not be doing much weight-training. To burn calories and slim down you should do many reps of low weight.
And also, if you're targeting one section or body part then you should only do a little to tone that area. Its really impossible to lose weight in just one place. It typically just goes down in bits all over. When people lose weight you typically notice it in the face first and who works out the face?
Anywho, just keep positive and do your best!

If you are uncomfortable with your weight, then start exercising more and eating healthier. Don't sweat it though, it's not what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts! I learned that from the grandpa on HEY ARNOLD. I think that's completely true. And don't feel bad. I'm that weight and I'm 2 inches shorter than you! :)

you should eat just a tad bit healthier at 5'7 you should weigh around 125 pounds for a girl and 135 tto 140 for a guy

No.Your not over weight.People come in all shapes and sizes and they are beautifull no matter what just keep that in mind.You dont have to weigh 90 pounds to be pretty.As long as your healthy everything is okay, but if you dont like your weight talk to someone about it, get a nurtiest.
