Contractors License lookup???

Question

Is there away to input a contractors business name in a directory and it will pull up there license number to operate. I don't want to have to call everyone.

If you're in California, you can do a lookup online. I don't know about other states, but I expect they would offer a similar service.

If you're in CA, try this website to lookup the license number by the company's name:

In California you can look up all info on a contractor on

www.cslb.ca.gov
Look under "consumers"
Other states I would just start in your State's home page and look for a link
