All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians.

1.
John chapter 14 verse 16:
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."

2.
Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:

"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."

3.
Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".

"Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the
Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the
Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.

Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).

4.
Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is
come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".

The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

BTW, I'm not a Christian...but did you watch "The Passion of the Christ"? In this fim Jesus was telling his disciples that "Akhmad" was coming and that "Akhmad" will reveal the truth of "Allah" and that he will be sent by the Father. The dialogue was in Aramaic (Jesus' language). The English translation read that "Akhmad" is the Helper...but the truth is that "Akhmad" is "Ahmad"' just as "Mashiyekhaah" is the "Messiah".

Ahmad (PBUH) was mentioned in the Bible; both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Please read David Benjamin Keldani's artcles on this issue (on the internet), and don't forget to watch The Passion of the Christ; especially in the middle of the film, where the abovementioned dialogue could be seen and heard.

Good luck and salaam.

Holy Spirit

You are wrong! You do not understand the Holy Spirit or the scriptures. The Holy Spirit before Jesus, would come and go upon a person. But now that Jesus was raised from the dead, God now gives the Holy Spirit as a gift to all those who have turned from their sins and are baptized in the name of Jesus for the payment of their sins. (Acts 2:38) The Holy Spirit IS God, Himself. I know, because God has given me Himself, because I have accepted His Son, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. I am one of many Temples that God now lives in.

Please turn away from your false religion and accept God's Love and Forgiveness which only comes through the shed blood of Jesus.

Why do you keep asking these questions? When people debunk your false beliefs or point out the truth, you just blow off their answers!

The "Comforter" of Whom Jesus spoke is the "Paraclete", the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. It was certainly *not* the descendant, of Ishmael, or his followers, who was born only because Sarai (who became "Sarah") didn't believe God, and Abram (who became "Abraham") had his doubts and, unfortunately, acceded to Sarai's wishes. Please see Genesis 16:12. There's been nothing but trouble between Israel and his descendants and, later, Christians, and Ishmael and his descendants, especially Mohammed's followers, ever since!

If by a comforter, you mean someone that would slit your throat in a skinny minute, then Mohammad is your man. If you are after someone that will help you to understand God, and aid you in your Christian walk to come closer to God, then the Holy Spirit is the one, and the only one who is truly the comforter that Jesus spoke of. The Holy Spirit, peace and a teacher for those who seek God. Mohammad, terrorist, and one who kills people that disagree with him. How could he be a comforter?

The comforter is Jesus. He said I will come to you. not the third person in the mythical trinity. There are no bible prophecies about Mohammed

Check out the book of Acts, that is when the comforter came, not hundreds of years later, but days. And the Holy Spirit is here today, Mohammad is not.

Holy Spirit is our comforter sent after Jesus ascended into Heaven and will continue until He returns.

The Comforter is God the Holy Spirit.

As is seen in verse 17; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but "ye know him" for he "dwelleth with you" and "shall be in you."

And, verse 20; At that day ye shall know that "I am" in my Father, and "ye" in me, and "I" in you.
