He broke up with me on our one year anniversary. Recently he's been around a lot. He jokes around with me telling me not to leave and stuff. He bought me coffee without me asking him to. I talked to him a few days ago and he told me that he has a lot on his mind. I asked him why he broke up with me and he told me that he did it for me and that there really was not specific reason. I found out that he still has the pictures up of me in his room. All my friends noticed that hes been acting very weird lately. He's been very quiet around us all. What do you think?

I think that every guy goes through a time where they need to sort stuff out, i did. So he still crazy about you but he's afraid to tell you so. I say give him some time then confront him about it. The reason he's quiet (guess) is maybe he does want to tell you but he cant around people or he's concentrating on other things right then and there. So stay close with him, just not close enough to smother him.

Perhaps he regrets his decision. Or perhaps he's playing you for a fool. A guy's mind can be just as complex and perilous as a woman's if you cannot interpret it. He is sending mixed signals, and its too early in the game to figure out his intentions. Give it some more time. Allow him to throw himsel out there some more. What does he do? Is it an act? What does he say? Is he true and sincere? Look for the vitals within his words and actions. Not many people can pull of a good act and not be true to those feelings. Time is of the essence, but time is your greatest factor.

This is a hard question to answer but did he skip out on the year anniversary gift? I have friends who break up with girls when it comes time to get a gift to save money. Also his reason was not good. Just look at him for who he is and say is this a guy I want to date. If yes then go back, if no then keep moving forward.

It sounds like he's going thru something but isn't ready to talk with you all about it. If you believe he is sincere and not jerking you around, give him time and space to get his head straight and let him open up to you on his own versus continuing to pursue answers. But, don't focus too much of your time or energy on him. Stay focused on creating the kind of life and friend/family relationships you want and focus on developing activities around your interests. Seeing that you're getting on with you life and not hanging around waiting for him, will certainly give him incentive to get it together as quickly as he is able. Good Luck!

I think he has a lot on his mind, just like he told you. Sounds like he likes you, but isn't ready for any kind of commitment, and as such, he's let you go to pursue a man that will be able to give you that commitment.

maybe theres something that is happening in your life that where he thinks if he is with you then that may make you not successfull? no one knows. but only he do. ask him and just tell him you want to know why and if he really love you he would explain to you. i hate relationships that end without any reasons. but good luck and happy life

CLEARLY afraid of commitment..but he was probably too dumb to realize it, and then the 'one year' snuck up on him and he realized he had gone too far.
