O my this is such a wonderful question with a wonderful answer!! I've written an entire sermon on this subject! :). I suppose an easy was to put it is this.. Jesus was Gods only BEGOTTEN Son, (John 3:16). Begotten means to give birth to basically, for example David begat Solomon. Now in order for David to begat Solomon, Solomon had to be born of a woman, and David played the part of that by placing seed in the woman. OK so now we understand begotten (I hope). So lets break down the next part, John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God..." the text goes on to talk about how the Word came down to Earth to be the light for all men. So the Word part of God became human on this Earth and died for us (now He's known as Jesus). So God the Father sent His Word (keep in mind theyre fully a part of each other) to Earth as a seed, and He planted it within a woman by the name of Mary and she begat Jesus and gave God a son. I hope you got that. God planted the seed in the woman and begat the son Jesus, just as David planted his seed in a woman and BEGAT the son Solomon. Ok so we have that. Now heres the amazing part. Now the Word part of God is human, and is now the Son of God, making a human being an heir to Gods throne, yet this human being is still fully God just wrapped up in human flesh. Now when any human being baby is born he, or she, is now a part of the human race, because no matter who the mother or father is, as long as their human, they are a descendant of the first human beings ever Adam and Eve, so no matter what, whoever you are, you and me included, we are family because we are decendants from Adam and Eve. So now the Word of God is born and is now Jesus Christ the Son of God, He has been born into the human race, making Him a part of the human family for us, but an added benefit is that because He is our brother a member of our family, a member of the human race, but still the Son of God, and God in the flesh. Now heres the most amazing part. Sin is in our genes, its genetic, ever since our first father Adam messed up, we're all screwed up with the generational curse. But because God came down and was born a human, and lived a perfect life, now all of us have the option to be reborn spiritual into the family of God. We can forget our lineage with Adam, and our generational curse, and take on a new Father, God, and be free from all our sins, just because Jesus came and became human for us. Jesus is the new Adam, and all we have to do is choose Him and be decendants of God! I hope you understood all that, its much easier to tell when I'm preaching and its not almost 1am, lol. But do some more studying for yourself, its an amazing thing what Jesus did for us, and how we now all can inherit the Kingdom.
God Bless you in yoru studies.

Its actually an interesting point...
at first sight it may look obvious, but its not...
genesis states that the sons of Gd started mating with the daughters of men at a certain point, rite b4 the flood, when the nephilim were on earth...

so our blood should b half divine and half human...

still, how could the Good Lord make us and give us this natural inclination to sin?? an inclination that would eventually require the killing of his son, in order to redeem all his half sons and daughters???

Redemption mandatory a proper sacrifice, They used animals in the OT. yet they had to try this after a three hundred and sixty 5 days, Now via fact Jesus got here that's as quickly as and for All, For God so enjoyed the international that he gave his basically begotten Son, to die as quickly as & for all wherein we don't choose a sacrifice each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

These are the verses that help me to understand this: "He(speaking of Jesus) was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." John chapter 1, verses 10-13
Hope this helps!

We become God's children by trusting him. The sacrifice of Jesus was done so that we would have something to believe in, something that we can look to God with and say, " It was you all along, God. You really do care for us."

If you want to get into the technical aspects of how that works, try reading the book of Hebrews.

Well I'm not Christian anymore, but hopefully that won't discount me. I believe it has something to do with the word "begotten" which is used in the verse that says that for god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son. I have no idea what begotten means.

We are adopted into His family.

Ephesians 1:4-6 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."

Galations 4:4-6, "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."

The Bible says that we're adopted and like any adopted child we take on the full rights, responsibilites, obligations and inheritance of the family....the Bible goes so far as to say that we are co heirs with Jesus. Which makes us equal in God's eyes to Jesus ( but no, for all those theologians who were about to lynch me, that doesn't make us divine....lol)
God bless hope it helps

He is The Father of Mankind whom He created in His image. He is "Our Father who art in Heaven".... We christians are born again into the Family of God, therefore belong to Him. We make Him Our Father by believing in and trusting His Son, and He makes us His children. And all of God's children said "AMEN!!!!"
