Not to live 24/7. That is an inside dog. You might want to clarify you question; but if you mean like going in/out the doggy door or staying out for a few hours unsupervised. I would wait until close to a year. Until then they are puppies and can get into all sorts of trouble....eating stuff that makes the sick and all that. If you have like a patio or something dog proof...probably 6 months.

NO dog should be kept outdoors 24/7. Dogs are pack animals and when you bring one home YOU become his pack. If you leave them outside they feel as if they have been BANISHED from the pack and they don't understand why. A dog who lives outside 24/7 is lonely, confused, bored and MISERABLE. I have never understood people who get a dog and then chain the poor thing outside and hardly ever pay attention to it. Why bother HAVING a dog if you don't want him to be with you!

Anyway, perhaps that's not what you meant -- maybe you only want him to be outside a few hours at a time. Even then it's not a good idea -- small dogs are HOUSE dogs. They are not suited for living outdoors.

in case you do live a tow or state where is usually summer hot weather outside will cause dog death . plus if the dog kept out door all day or all the time without not laot of cold water and foods or even no shade to keep it self cooler during the day then the dog will just died . but you should keep the dog to inside and keep the dog in a cage or kennel .

No your Pom is an inside dog as they do not handle cold or heat because of their small size. You also run the risk of having it stolen if you are not careful to watch them.

Absolutely not. Many small breeds (and extra-large breeds) are not suited for outdoor living. Pomeranians are extremely thick furred, and during the spring/summer time, that could cause problems.
With such a small breed, why aren't you allowing it to stay indoors? Dogs are pack animals, they should be where their owners are.

You can but it isn't very good for them. Their fur is very delicate and they will look ratty. Same age as any dog!
