How would you feel if 20 million africans illegally entered the U.S, marched and demanded rights and amnesty, would you mind?

What about if 20 million from Europe did that too and asians?

To all from Mexico that are getting amnesty, let's say you become a citizen and suddenly you are in the legal system and feel more at ease but you've noticed hospitals are closing down around you, you can't find a job because someone is hiring only african illegal immigrants and then the government says they are going to grant them amnesty, would you be okay with that?

I'm outraged by our bullies in the office. They pick on middle easterners knowing they aren't well equipped but right here at home, they just let things fall apart and act sociopathic.

This is setting an example for the future.

There is still racial bias against Africans and African Americans, and we have a very strict against africans entering this country illegally. Case in point is Haiti coming here to escape the same thimgs Mexicans are escaping. Our government are doing this for personal gain, and not American welfare. Illegal aliens take jobs that Americans can't live on, because we must follow the law, they don't.

Yes, those people are here illegally. But their illegal status is in part because our immigration policies did not keep up with the needs of this country. Most of the Illegal people here have been here for a while, work, and pay taxes.

So we certainly must fix this. But booting them out is not the right fix. We crack down on the industries that hire them off the books and pay below market wages. We figure out how many people need to enter the country to do the work and make sure those people can come here legally to do it. We secure the border so that we don't have masses of people that we aren't aware of coming into the country. We recognize that our recent past policy has been a failure and provide a reasonable way for the people here, and doing the work to become legal.

You're correct, and that's why we need to make our own statements to our politicians now. Not everything is a done deal just yet, and Monday is only to vote to go forward with the drafting of a bill to pass into law.

You've got a poster who says two things that he is wrong about.

1. That's it's impossible to round up all illegals and deport them. Wrong - It is possible to round up all illegals and deport them. It was done in 1954.

2. It will effect the economy if illegals are deported. Wrong - the economists have already stated that it will not make a difference to our economy if illegals were to be deported. Our economy would still be strong.

I find it interesting that no one would actually answer your question. It happen to my all the time. You know what would be the ultimate curse. Give the illegal immigrants what they want and have no control on immigration. We would have tens maybe hundreds of millions of illegal immigrants from all over the world. Immigrants from China and India would flood our labor market and put most of the other illegal immigrants out of their jobs.

Amnesty is the only economically viable way to integrate illegal immigrants into the labor force, and collect appropriate taxes and deductions (as well as fight wage depreciation).

It is not realistic (in terms of money and logistics) to expect federal or state governments to literally track and deport each illegal immigrant, and any attempt to do so would tear apart the country. Not to mention the huge disruption it would cause to the economy.

This is certainly not the result of rallies in Los Angeles - it is simply the only way to begin any coherent sort of new visa and immigration scheme that establishes a true border and some sort of order to this mess.

They'd love it. They'd love it because it would mean 12 to 15 million more votes for their side and eventually they might actually win an election or two. Liberals are dancing in the streets...but they'll pretend to be "mad" first.
