It can be a lot of things. Did you just finish walking up stairs? Eat spicy food? Drink something hot? It takes your body a little time to recover from these. It can also be hormonal changes.

Some people sweat more than others and there isn't much that can be done about it. For me, if i am doing any type of physical activity, i sweat. I gave up trying to slow down the sweat because nothing really works. So the only thing I have found to be helpful is to wear light clothes that won't cause me to over heat. I wear a lot of clothes made out of wicking fabric that allows the sweat to evaporate faster than it accumulates. Cotton is the worst fabric for absorbing and holding sweat.

Well your body may be dehydrated. Drink plenty of water. What makes your body sweat is the secretion of salt out of your body. Salt absorbs water and therefore must get rid of it when you have too much salt and not enough water in your body. Drink more water
