hmmmm ..... are christians pressed to prove there isn't a FSM, an odin, a monkey god, an emperor of all gods ..... etc etc?

Christians, however, seems to be very hard pressed to shift all their blames and faults onto imaginary creatures. Is there a deadline?

Its an issue of evidence, If you believe in God with no evidence, then you might as well believe in 10 gods, or 100000 gods, or even that every human being alive is a god. There's no evidence to prove otherwise. Thats why atheists require evidence. Belief without evidence is absurd.

On the contrary. Atheists don't care. Christians make the claim that there is a god, and you cannot provide any evidence. If atheists don't bother to prove you wrong, what possible evidence is that that you are right? NONE.

I'll be happy to prove it. Just tell me how you prove that the Tooth Faerie isn't real, and apply that proof to god. It works every time.

Seems like there are more people who can say that they have had some sort of contact with God than those who can say they've had no contact with no God... does that make sense? No atheist can say, "I have had contact with the absence of a God." People who believe in God can say, "I have had contact with God." More people who can back up the idea of a God. So the atheists get the hard part in my opinion.

I was thinking asking a similar question right before I saw this one. It was "Does it take more faith to believe that there isn't a god or to believe that there is/are one/some." What a crazy coincidence.

It is all left up to faith. That is the bottom line.
