I suppose if you believe in heaven then you would have to acknowledge that there are many other ways to get there. Otherwise you are discounting Judaism and Islam which have every bit as much right as Christianity to their beliefs.

Fortunately, I don't get confused, I know there is no heaven.

Hi Sailcat64. No there is no Salvation other than through Jesus Christ. God tells us very clearly in Acts 4:10:

"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole."

God continues is Acts 4:12

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Yes. But, Jesus is the Word of God. John's Gospel tells us that he is the Word and that he is eternal, but we know that Jesus, the man, wasn't concieved until ~9 mos before Jesus' birth, so as a man, he is not eternal. Those who believe in the Word of God, the spirit that was incarnated as Jesus of Nazareth, but do not believe in the man himself, can still be saved.

If you live somewhere where you never would have heard of Jesus, but somehow you discover His spirit, believe in that which He embodied, and follow His Way, you can be saved. One who claims to believe in the man, but not what he stood for is probably less likely to be saved.

Though, that's really all speculation. It is not for any of us as men to declare who will and will not be offered Salvation. That is each person's personal matter with God.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the Way.

John 14:6 -
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Heb 1:8 -
But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

He's the only path to eternal life with God. You see, we are not going to live in heaven for eternity.
