I see how militant the Christians in this country have become in recent history. The average Christian is hateful, fanatical, determined to silence all those who disagree, and have no sence of humor what so ever. They also claim to be the ones who are going to Heavon. If these people are the people who are going to heavon, I can't wait to go to Hell.

That's really sad. It's actually scary that you would say something like that. It's obvious that you are one who doesn't believe in Heaven or Hell , because if you knew how real Hell is you wouldn't make a remark like that.
Everyone who claims to be a Christian isn't. There is more to it than just saying " I'm a Christian". The question is are they saved, are they filled with the Holy Spirit? If not, then that explains the hateful attitudes.

I do have a sense of humor. I'm laughing at your post, and the way you spell heaven as "heavon." What is He-Avon, perfume for men?

Seriously, I think you are completely mislead in your views of the "average" Christian. We are loving people due to the grace of God. We even care about the people who hate us. Even here on YA we leave ourselves open to be slaughtered (ridiculed) by unbelievers. All I can say in the screen words of Malibu's Most Wanted is "Don't hate!"

Obviously the Christians you have met are not true as the main theme of Christianity is LOVE....you obviously don't experience love from them or anything else if thats your attitude.

Obvioulsy you have no idea of hell either....imagine putting your hand over a candle flame and keeping it there forever and having that all over your body.....you do not understand and thats why you mock it.....Also only a few actually make it to heaven anyway, most go to hell and a few get to pergotry, so maybe I'm not good enough for heaven either.....

Um... wow... yeah... not sure how to take this one...

First off, you are wrong when you say the average Christian is hateful, fanatical, determined to silence yada yada yada, and have no sense of humor what so ever. That just is not true. Are there Christians like that? Oh yes. They suck. But to say most are is a falsitude.

Secondly, you spelled Heaven wrong.

I am so sorry this has been your experience with Christians. It is sort of hard for me to imagine all the things you said about us but, I suppose this is how you see us. If this is the case, I pray you will have the opportunity to get to know Christians who really try to live by the words written in the Bible.

I know that we are all human and Christians do sin and we do let others down. But, Jesus never lets us down! Remember this, mankind will fail you, God won't! I sincerely hope to see you in heaven!!

Wow!

You don't know the Christians that I know.

However, many people that I have met and read, feel that saying their lifestyle is "sin" is being hateful, fanitical and damaging. This is not the case. If Christians tell you that what you do is sin it is not hate of fanitical. Hate would be to say "I don't care if you go to hell so I won't tell you where you are going (to hell)."

Anyway, don't look at Christians. Look at Jesus, see how He lived and what He taught. base your decision on Him. We Christians should be doing the same and as we keep looking at Jesus we will become more like Him - attracting people like you to Him and not turning them away.

Christian's aren't supposed to be hateful. The ones that are are just doing it wrong and sinning themselves. The point is you don't know who's going to heaven or not...but you do know that Hell is a bad place full of demonic spirits and torture. Ignore the mean religious people and seek God...all else will follow. and don't judge...

Me either. I feel the same way. One person's heaven is another person's hell. The Christian heaven would be the ultimate hell for me. I'd rather go to hell.

Right there with you!

I know so many preachers who go to the deathbeds of convicts and offer them salvation - excuse me, why would I want to be in a heaven with murderers and rapists?

And people say everyone lives in marble palaces and the streets are paved with gold - just sounds tacky to me!
