I feel extremely depressed, scared, & anxious for my future. I want to go to Graduate school, but I don't think I'll succeed, & that's depressing me. Also, I'm depressed because I just moved to a new town, & transportation is a struggle. I need a car, but I don't have the money. By bus it takes 3 hrs. to get somewhere that takes 5 or 10 minutes by car. I'm poor & don't have much money.

Change ALWAYS affects people. You'll feel depressed because you've left something, and you'll feel anxoius because you've left something. The scared feeling comes from the overwhelming emotions. You kind of answered your own question when you said 'I'm depressed because...' I thought that was funny. : )
I also feel that you should look on the positive side of things. Sure the bus takes forever! But what are the positives? You aren't contributing to global warming (quite as much), you get to have more time to your self, and you have the ability to work on your studies, or whatever else you decide to do. for example: art or reading the newspaper.
I highly suggest if you are feeling depressed, that you do something for yourself that occupies your time. I do art, for example. You could create music, or write a book, or take a bath, or give a dog a bath... whatever....
Good luck with grad school... if there is a will... you'll succeed.

Why don't you feel that you will succeed? You must have done well in your last school, or you wouldn't be where you are today. You are well ahead of most graduates as only the top grads go on with their education. As a practical matter, Have you talked to the ad visors at the new school? They can help with you getting a job so you can afford a bicycle, until you can afford a car. I envy you, I never graduated from college. I dropped out as a junior. I just could not find enough hours in a day to study , I worked 2 jobs and they sucked my study hours away. Check with social services in your new town. They might be helpful with bus passes and other things you need . There is help out there, go get it .

See if your insurance would cover a psychiatrist for your depression. If not, be as active as you can, doing things you like to do, even if you don't feel like doing them. Most people can come out of depression on their own, but it is often faster to get help.
As far your money issue goes, maybe getting a bike would better than a car. (at least temporarily) until you can get on your feet. Bike don't have major mechanical issues and most importantly, they don't need gas.
For school, I would suggest letting yourself in easy. Only take 2-3 classes to start with and when you get the hang of it, go full time.

You will never get anything you don't pursue. Go change your world and make the world around you better. Someone needs you to fight for them.
