dotn count calories burned because they are not precise - count time doing cardio
to lose weight (fat) you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week (deffinately have 1 day off) for 30-50min (ideally 45min)
rowing is a good cardio which also gives you resistance training

Have you ever tried doing any cardio dance workouts? You should check out www.hiphopabs.com the dances work your whole body and it would keep you from having to do so many different workouts.
