I have attended Alpha course and accepted Jesus as my Saviour. Along the way, God answered my prayer. A guy appeared in my life, walk me along, and he is a born christian. However, he is not from the same church as me. I have been praying for God's words. No answer to me. Anybody out there can share your views? If you were me, what would you do? Which church should I serve? The church who leads me to Christianity or his church?

hey, ouch,
I'm really glad you got a chance to do the alpha course, it really gives some great foundational information that makes it easier to know what christianity and having a relationship with God is about. And welcome to our family, by the way. :-)
I'm a born again christian, and I don't know which church you are going to now, but i would encourage you not to feel pressured by anyone as to where your home church should be.

I would try to find a place where you can connect with people maybe in your age group or in similar situations - many churches have different study groups or classes where you can bond with other christians and make some great friends that you can lean on and can grow with.
It's also great to find friends that have been walking with God for a long time; when I have questions, it's awesome to be able to go to someone for wisdom.

:-) God bless, and we celebrate with you. :-D

You should ask Jesus for understanding and he will open your eyes with it. Why join a church, as long as you study that is all Jesus cares about. Find a religion that teaches the bible word for word then you are getting somewhere. Remember the bible was not originally written in English so you need a Strongs Concordnance to take it back to the Greek and Hebrew. With those tools you don't need a church.

You both should pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead you to the church where HE wishes you to be. It is not necessary to change Churches unless GOD is leading you to change - because - as you have said, this is a boyfriend, NOT a husband.

If you feel led by God to go to a new fellowship - you should visit other fellowships and pray for God's leading. If you have no sence of leading - you may be meant to remain where you are.

Make no changes until your relationship is more committed, or until the Lord leads you somewhere else. (Marriage.)

Peace.

I could help you with that question a lot better if I knew what kind of church you attended that alpha class at and what kind of church he attends.

You might want to contact me privately with the answers to those questions.

As a former campus Pastor at ISU where we had on occasion over 12,000 attending our group, and we regularly had in the neighborhood of 2200 to 2400, I've learned a lot about the pros and cons of the various denomination which exist in USA.

Christianity is all those who follow Christ in faith. The Bible tells us that any way we choose to serve him is holy and good. Search yourself and pray to God on how you would like to serve him best, and then find the church that helps you to meet your spiritual calling.

You should serve God. It doesn't matter which church you go to what matters is that you do your best for God.God doesn't have a preference as to church's. He said where there are 3 or4 gathered together there I am also.

It's an impossible struggle that you wish to attempt. Each church will tell you that they will lead you to God.
My solution? Agnosticism.
