my friend told me never to go anywhere with him without my mom. she claims he is to nice. im afraid. what should i do?

HOPEFULLY This is the correct interpretation (PLEASE spell things out ... or no one can help you!)
IF someone is Nice .. why are people afraid? Is there something there besides being "nice" in his background or past relationships that cause one to question his motives at this time? Has he done anything bad before?
BEFORE you jump to a conclusion (which may be wrong) ... check it out ... because the 'source' of this comment may be wrong. YOUR mother should know quite a bit of the guy she is dating (and if she does NOT -- that is definite cause to worry!).

If you feel uncomfortable being around this man talk to your Mom about it. Has he said or done anything that would make you suspect it would be unsafe to be around him alone? This could just be your friend's paranoia however, it doesn't hurt to be safe. Have a discussion with your Mom but don't make accusations if there are none to be made. Tell her what your friend said and keep your eyes and ears open when the guy is around. Try to be objective but also keep yourself safe.
