For elbows and feet. For your face you will irritate the hell out of it and end up with another layer of dry skin. Always use something soft or a chemical exfoliater you can sleep with.
You don't have to rub to exfoliate. If anything rubbing the skin on your face is the WORST thing you can do.

Sugar is good- salt is good too, but if you have any cuts it stings like heck. I too love brown sugar. It is finer. I would only recommend brown sugar for the face and to only use it lightly.

Actually if you put raw sugar in your liquid bath soap it will work wonders but don't use it on your face ! Also never use sea salt it is more harmful than it is beneficial .

Yes and it dosen't burn as bad as the salt scrub. Try mixing it with baby oil or your favorite kind and after shaving in the shower use it on your legs. Wow, silky smooth.

yes...it depends on how sensitive your skin is though. for all types....i would recommend brown sugar. its more natural...i just mix a regular face cleanser(olay) with a scoop of brown sugar anf my face just glows!!!!!! i get compliments all the time. you shoudl try that. =] hope it helps.

depends where.. for elbows,kness thing like that, sugar is great.. but for your face i think dead sea salt works great
