My girlfriend and I have been going out for a year and 5 months now, and our relationship has been really good, but now it's starting to end up with a lot of arguements and not so romantic moments. No matter how hard I try to be romantic (leaving little love notes, poems, writing songs, surprises and dinner dates...) she doesn't seem to enjoy it anymore.
Im also a girl, so I figured it would be easy to understand her but I'm just as clueless as a man would be. I'd really appreciate some tips, thank you very much! =)

Gender doesn't overcome general problems of incompatibility... you guys probably have the same types of communication problems as any other couple (straight or gay or in between).

After a few months, your body stops making the hormones that it did when you "fell in love" -- without that high, it is very easy to get irritated with each other.

Maybe romance isn't what is lacking in your relationship. While love notes, poems and stuff are wonderful, they will not fix it if your problem is elsewhere.

Try relationship counseling just to learn some better communication skills and understand each other better.

Good luck!

what it sounds like to me is... i think she is trying to get you to leave her. i think she doesnt have the same feeling anymore. and with you doing all this stuff its making it harder on her to tell you that she doesnt want to be with you anymore. is this whats going on, is she getting mad at every stupid little thing? if thats true shes just trying to cause a fight so that way you will break up with her. and at the end shes not hurting you. but how shes going about this she is hurting you. i would just come out with it. say "do you want to be with me anymore?"

maybe it's just a phase. Let her know you're there for her but give her some space and maybe she'll work through whatever is going on with her. If her feelings for you are changing, hopefully she will respect you enough to be honest with you.
