You are a very healthy weight. It is normal for your stomach to appear like it has "grown" after you eat...that food has to take up the same amount of space inside as it did outside. The thing is, your body breaks down the food and uses it for energy. This is why your stomach goes back to its origonal size. You sound like you might have the beginnings of an eating disorder called bullemia. It makes you see yourself differently than other people see you. You're a perfect size, and I bet lots of girls are envious of you. You should talk to someone that you trust about this "starving" and "over-eating". If you keep doing it, it can do permenant damage to your body, or you could even die. You should eat a balanced diet, and have sweets in moderation. If you do this, you will continue to grow into a beautiful young woman.

Because you keep starving yourself and then binging, your metabolism is all over the place. It's normal that your stomach would bloat like that because your body is storing all the food incase you starve it again. To stop this, you need to eat a healthy amount of food each day. After a week or so, your body will get used to it and you will feel better.

first of all, you are normal. second of all, you are skinny.
what you need to do is start an excercise program because that will stabilize your body more. a good forty five minutes of sweating everyday will help to make your body happy.
you should also drink water. get a liter bottle and drink it every day in school (after 2pm you absorb less fluid so try to drink earlier). don't gulp it--sip it. but you may have too much salt in your body and water will help it. (don't worry if you feel like you have to go to the bathroom a lot--every two hours is normal)
besides that, don't eat junk food and try to eat a lot of greens. the simpler the food (less ingredients, more whole foods) the better.
if the probloem persists, make sure to see a doctor for more advice.

You should seek professional guidance as this is really bad for you and you will mess up your metabolism permanently if you are not careful. Just keep it in mind that this will in the long term make you overweight and unhealthy and in years to come you will regret it. You don't need to worry about your size / weight from what you've said. See someone like a counsellor or a doctor who can talk it through with you. It might be helpful to look into alternative wholistic therapies like acupuncture or something.

Well, teenagers are always worrying about their appearances, so I would say that you might be overreacting a little. Just eat normally and exercise regularly and you should be fine. 120 lb for a 5'7" person is quite skinny.

Hi Cindy,
You feel huge when you eat because you have the guilty consciousness. You are eating particular type of food because you love it. So don't feel guilty for any food habits. If you eat wrong diet compensate the next day by eating less calories.

Ok, first of all I have been there. Do you think maybe you might be lactose intolerant? If so, try supplementing dairy products with soy milk ( contain same amount of calcium you need at your age) Cut back on carbs as well, and eat plenty of vegetables with protein . In addition, EXERCISE !
