No. You can't pick on all of them due to the actions of some of them. And I don't want anyone "interviewing" my kids. They're fine, thank you very much!!

I think I understand where you're coming from with this. The trouble is, who would do the interviewing? How can we be sure that they could themselves be trusted? I think that the primary responsibility to keep children safe lies with the parents. Only when they are obviously not taking good care of thier children should it be given over to someone else. I mean, you have to respect the parents rights as well. I think pediatricians, schoolteachers, and childcare workers are now pretty good at recognizing signs of when something is not right with a child.

No you can't operate out of fear and paranoia -- normal children should be left undisturbed by this kind of unecessary probing -- there are undoubted many opportunies to identify and divert children who look to be at risk of becoming dangerous -- leave the rest of them alone

no, it'll make them worse. Intervening only leads to pulling away more. I was an angst filled teen... anyone that tried to reach out to me, I tore up their minds...
