overall weight (fat) loss
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You need to do some cardio to burn fat. Eat more protein and fewer carbs. Stick with complex carbs, rather than simple--cut back on sweets and white flour. Drink more water and find an aerobic activity--like running--martial arts, or even kick boxing. A great ab exercise, if your back is strong enough is the wheel. Do exercises that strengthen but also keep your muscles long and lean. Maybe try something like Pilates. The way to maintain it once you get there is just to stay active and eat in moderation. Change up your exercise routines as much as possible, and again, drink lots of water. Good luck.

Totally know what you mean. I have trouble losing the weight around my midsection as well. I have cut out all fast food and I go running like 3 times a week and play tennis with a friend like 2 or 3 times a week...which helps. I also like Tae-Bo and doing workouts on those exercise balls

Well you can do crunches 50 times a day or the "plank" which also trains your core stability. Also remember, never ever be complacent. A high-fat meal can ruin your dream even if you train for 3 months!!!
