Hey, do chores, pay your own way to the movie if you want to see it so badly!
And by the way -- how old is TOO OLD??? I'm an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree and liked both Shrek Movies so far .. (in fact, I have the DVDs) ... and even my sibling's spouse wants to see Shrek 3 too!
Are we TOO OLD?

An easy answer is if you have some younger cousins or friend's kids or neighbors that you could volunteer to take. Although you might have some trouble getting the parents to let you take them alone. lol. Shrek 3 was really good.

I am 65 yr old. My wife (64) & I love Shrek. We went to see it and loved it. I don't know how old you would have to be to qualify as "too old." Save some $ & go see it with friends.

Tell your family there are worse things you could be dong. That will shut them up. You should enjoy your youth for as long as you can!

tell your mom that your just so into shrek. tell her that sometimes you just cant let go of something. sometimes you just don't grow out of things. tell her you just adore shrek!
