im not of age yet to go get a piercing by myself so whats a good way to try to convince my parents to let me get my lip pierced? i already have my nose and other things pierced but they wont let me get anymore....i know some people are gonna say just wait, but i dont want to. i need some ideas on how i can try to put up a good argument so they'll let me or even think about it. thanks!

Do you know that dentists don't recommend lip piercings as they see an increase in tooth damage from them?
The metal wears the enamel off the teeth, and many people chip their teeth on the metal. Some people grind their teeth down by regularly chewing on their piercing ring or barbell.
Of course its your choice, when your old enough to make them for yourself. If you can't get it done with out your parents' permission, then wait.

The way i got my mom to let me was when i threatened to pierce my eyebrow with a needle(then i really did) and she told me she'd take me to get it professionaly done if i took it out. then when i wanted my tounge pierced, she took me, probably afraid i would do it if she didnt, i wouldnt have though.I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself, im scarred for life now, and it really looks bad, maybe just convince them that you will.

there really isent a good way to ask your parents. unless u do it on your own which u shouldnt cause of infection. i would just wait till they say yes and go with you or u are of age to go have it professially done

when my mom said no i just pierced it myself and put it in when i went to school and when she was coming home i took it out
but then i just quit wearing it cuz. it got old...i had snake bites

I dunno I would wait but since u dont want to you should calmly sit down with them and talk to them.
