I like this boy, Rob, and I'm pretty sure he likes me back. His friends have been practically telling me every day that he does, and that I should make a move 'cause he's too shy.
I'm really not too confident, because I'm a little pudgy, and I have too many freckles, but I have been really thinking about it.
His friend said that I should ask him out on a double date with him and his girlfriend, because Rob would be too scared to go alone.
We're in the 7th grade. His friend is 13, Rob's 14, and I'm 12. Rob doesn't know how old I am, but people have told me that I look old for my age.
Should I do it?

U are to young to start dating. Wait until u're older and u can make adult decisions. Anyway, if Rob likes u and his friends know, why dont they advice him to ask u out on that double date?
I just think u should enjoy d company of casual friends, enjoy ur childhood, u're only 12. When u get older, u can start dating. U r about d same age as my lil cousin and i would advise her d same. Take care. Wish u d best. God Bless.

It is ok for girls to ask a boy out. BUT very important, i suggest you try to figure out if Rob would mind going out with a 12 year old girl. 12 and 14 is different. ¸Just be carefull, don't just listen to what people say. Find out this first than if it`s ok with him...go for it. Good luck

Seems to me Rob's friend should ask him and he can tell Rob that his girlfriend asked you and you will all go together.

Uhhhh duh you can. Okay soooo 2 months ago i liked this guy and he was flirting with me alot. A dance came up, and he didnt ask me, sooo i asked him, he told me yes. After the dance we started going out, and now we are really happy, if i wouldn't have asked him out I never would have had this oppurtunity. I'm very happy and so is he. You should go for it, i couldnt have suggested anythng better. Good Luckk... : )

I think you're too young to be dating.
Why not stick to being friends in the time being? There's no need to rush and start dating.

I think that you should make a move and if he likes you and you like him take advantage of it and do wat his friends have told you but also be honest about your age cuz you should not start a relationship with a lie because it will just make things worse in the end.
