Yes. Great Tribulations are right at the door. I don't look forward to that time. But I will be glad when God stands up and puts a stop to sin.

Well I believe we control our own destiny from the decisions we make of our free will.
However, there will be a time when all we be brought to wreck. Either scientifically (e.g. the Sun going out, it is STILL a star after all) or supernaturally (God will finally reveal Himself and His existence to the world)
Still, either way, when it will happen will always be a mystery. All humanity can do is make the most of what time it has left now.

It's already been determined....what happens on earth is reflection of what happened already in heavenly realms...there was an attemped coup in heaven that is now being reflected in the physical realm on earth...you can control your own personal destiny by rejecting the soon to come microchip ID system (which is the mark of the beast) and accepting the free gift of eternal life from your Creator! That's what this life will boil down to for humanity unfortunately!

I know the truth here. Ready, it's not easy to accept, but I got it straight from Him, Himself, GOD:
The Earth is man's domain, and He has no intention of coming here, for He does not need the Earth, just as our souls do not need it.
Heaven is for us, as our reward, so that we may live in His light for all time, for heaven is God's domain.
Man will do great things, and He showed me all of this. I know it makes me sound crazy, but I have been at His feet crying, thinking I was dying.
However, He told me it was not my time, that the flesh will crave things, and that my spirit and flesh will heal, and that I will be able to go on in life and accomplish my goals.
He then showed my some of our future, and believe me when I say, the moon was only the beginning, and humanity will do great things.
There is always the threat of some kind of catastrophe that can kill all life on this planet, that is the way of the cosmos, which is also His Creation, however, He does not control it as we have been taught, for even the cosmos has freewill to do what comes naturally.
Yet, despite all that, man will survive, and God will always be there, watching us, and keeping His promise of everlasting life in His light once the flesh dies and our spirit, or soul, is released and returns to Him.
What He wants is for our soul to return to Him as a new individual, not the piece of Him that is the spark of our souls.
As that piece of Him, and our flesh grow together, a new spirit is formed, and that is His ultimate goal.

I think the next 200 years will define the fate of mankind. We have the power to destroy ourselves now. People all over the world need to work together to resolve all the problems we now endure. Like Global Warming and Nuclear Weapons. I guess what scares me the most is a meteor hitting earth and wiping up out like the dinosaurs. We need to come up with a way to destroy the meteors before they hit earth. Like a massive laser. I know we are also looking for other planets like our that can support life. In order to ensure our future we need to find other places besides earth to live. We have all our eggs in one basket. I would love to say the human race will last forever....I'm sure the dinosaurs felt that way too.....

What does armageddon has to do with being bad or good?
I think an armageddon wouldn't wipe out humans, but our numbers would be greatly reduced. Then the world would be able to bonce back.

I think each of us dies alone, as C. P. Snow observed, and in dying all we know of the world, all we have felt, seen or remembered of the world dies with us.
Given the enormity of that idea, and the frightening notion that when we are gone there is no more, we tend to project our own individual deaths, the end of our "world," onto the world in general.
It is this process that gives us the idea of Armageddon and the end times.

Man, historically is a violent creature. We now have the technology and will to build weapons that are capable of killing the human population on this planet...and we are building them.
The population of the human species is growing incredibly fast, we are polluting the environment and using up resources as fast as they are mined/harvested.
We think we are entitled, many believe God gave us all there is, we are immature as a species and more selfish than any other creature with the possible exception of ants.
If we do not evolve fast enough we will kill ourselves...no doubt.

Armageddon is the war of the great day of God the Almighty.
God will not let men ruin the earth. Armageddon is not a war of men. "The earth is firmly established and cannot be made to totter." - Ps. 96:10.
"Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, and he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see it."
The world will not be destroyed by Armageddon. The purpose is to crush and put an end to all other governments and god's kingdom will stand to time indefinite.
Then the meek ones will inherit the kingdom.
"Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you may be concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger." - Zeph 2:3
"Those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth." - Jer 25:33
"Just as the days of Noah were...they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the son of man will be." - Matt 24:37-39
"He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters." - Matt 12:30
"The great day of Jehovah is NEAR. It is near and there is a hurrying of it very much. The sound of the day of Jehovah is bitter. There a mighty man is letting out a cry. That day is a day of fury, a day of storm and of desolation, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick gloom, a day of horn and of alarm signal, against the fortified cities and against the high corner towers. And I will cause distress to mankind and they will certainly walk like blind men because it is against Jehovah that they have sinned. And their blood will actually be poured out like dust, and their bowels like the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's fury but by the fire of his zeal the whole earth will be devoured because he will make an extermination, indeed a terrible one, of all the inhabitants of the earth. Gather yourselves together, yes, do the gathering. O Nation not paling in shame. Before the statute gives birth to anything before the day has passed by just like chaff, before there comes upon you people the burning anger of Jehovah, before there comes upon you the day of Jehovah's anger. Seek Jehovah all you meek ones of the earth who have practiced his own judicial decision. Seek righteousness. Seek meekness. Probably you may be concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger. - Zeph 1:14-18 - Zeph 2:1-4

I think life is what you make of it...... I have seen families living the worst life possible, and others that to me ressemble what paradise must be like. So yeah I think there is hope.... as long as good people live... there will always be hope!! And I believe we control our destiny........ I really take to heart the saying "we are the captains of our lifes, the conqueror of our souls"
